Matt Brandon’s blog gets all web 2.0

Matt Brandon's Digital Trekker Blog

Matt Brandon, aka the Digital Trekker, has switched his blog from Blogger to WordPress and is loving the new format, and rightly so. He tells us that his new blog has “all kinds of fun stuff” which, when it comes from Matt, you know will be a sure thing.

On the tail of this and Mitchell Kanashkevich’s new blog, this kind of rounds up my first-call, daily blog reads. If you’re interested in Travel and Cultural Photography and have anything more than a passing interest in Photojournalism from around the world then the following web sites should probably be at the top of your daily blog reads:

  1. Gavin Gough (www.gavingough.com/blog)
Seriously, you thought I’d put anyone else at the top of this list?
  2. PixelatedImage (www.pixelatedimage.com/blog/)
David duChemin’s treasure trove of creativity
  3. The Digital Trekker (www.thedigitaltrekker.com/blog/)
Matt Brandon’s blog features great content and inspiring images
  4. The Travel Photographer (thetravelphotographer.blogspot.com/)
Young Tewfic El-Sawy reveals engaging Travel and editorial photographers’ work
  5. Mitchell Kanashkevich (www.mitchellktravelphoto.wordpress.com/)
Mitchell has a great eye and his new blog should be fascinating

Although there’s a host of other sites in my reader, these Top Five will give you (I hope) a great insight into what it is to be a working, travelling photographer.
