I’m excited to announce a group photo tour to Bhutan later this year. I will be hosting a photo expedition during which we’ll photograph the autumn tsechus (festivals).
Our group will convene in Bhutan at the end of September for a two-week tour, visiting some of the most colourful and lively festival celebrations in the country. Photographers will receive daily instruction with projects and exercises to help them hone their technique. Our aim is to ensure that you have the skills necessary to make the most of the unique photo opportunities on offer in Bhutan. We will also have regular photo-review sessions and there will be several opportunities for each participant to have one-to-one tuition. We’ll be taking time to look at post-production too and participants will be able to get to grips with a digital workflow based around Adobe Lightroom software.
If you would like more information about the Bhutan Photo Expedition ’09, please download the summary information leaflet below, which lists the dates and price and will tell you exactly what is and what isn’t included in the tour cost.
If you have any questions about the Bhutan trip, please feel free to e-mail me. I hope to see you there. In the meantime, here’s a slideshow of images taken in 2008, on Tewfic El-Sawy’s Bhutan trip.
