Canon Professional Network: April Newsletter

Canon Professional Network If you’re a Canon user, or even if you’re not, you may find the monthly CPN newsletter interesting reading. This month you can find out what’s in Julian Love’s camera bag, an interview with Franck Vogel and news of the first Getty grants of 2009.

Next month’s newsletter features Yours Truly talking about why I love my standard zoom lens. That’s my Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L lens, in case you’re wondering. And yes, I do love it. Talking of which, I should really get off my wotsit and go shoot something with it. Kathmandu is out the door for goodness sake so it’s time to practice what I preach.

I’ll add it to my list of required reading!

BTW, nice shot in this month’s PP.

I’ve never heard of CPN – thanks for the info.

I don’t have the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L lens, but I do have the Tamron version and I love it. I do hope one day to upgrade to that lens. I look forward to read your reivew.

  4. Jeffrey Chapman says:

Wishing I could walk out the door and be in Kathmandu right now!

I always look forward to the CPN newsletter but don’t quite understand why Canon Europe is so much better organized and supported than Canon USA. The CPS stuff is the same. Green with envy! Looking forward to reading your article. Cheers.

Indeed, “I know him,” I thought as I perused the latest CPN newsletter. Nice one. It’s not a lens I own, I eventually chose the 24-105 instead because of the IS but knowing your love for f2.8 I suspect that’s one of things you love about the 24-70. Some days I think I chose wrong.
