Bangkok Photo School: Summer Term Photos

The summer classes of the Bangkok Photo School have recently concluded. We taught our Foundation I and Experienced courses to over thirty students for five weeks. Each course included a field-trip, which is proving to be a highlight of the classes. It’s always good to spend the time in company of enthusiastic people, better still when they are enthusiastic photographers.

I have picked out a small selection of my favourite student images from the recent classes. Given that some people on our Foundation I course bought their first SLR during the course, I think the results were really impressive. All photographs are copyright of the students.

There’s a more comprehensive slideshow for both the Experienced and Foundation courses on the Photo School web site.

New courses begin later in the year, watch this space for announcements or subscribe to the Photo School Mailing List.

The first image below shows students from our Foundation I class at the Pak Klong Talaat market.

Some impressive shots in there, especially so, considering the time these students have been using a DSLR. Great use of colour, panning, close up, differential focus, and subject composition. It’s clear that your students learnt a lot from you and Jackie. Well done to all. DT
