Now with support for Adobe Lightroom AND Adobe Camera Raw (Photoshop)
I've written at some length about Kodachrome on my blog and the challenges faced when trying to build a reasonable digital emulation of the film. (I'd encourage you to read my blog post, which gives a summary of Kodachrome's history and explains the process used in creating these unique profiles).
You can only really create Kodachrome images by shooting Kodachrome film. Sadly, the film was discontinued several years ago and there's nowhere left to process it.
However, I've been able to reverse engineer some digital values based upon calibrated Kodachrome slides. It's taken some considerable time but I was able to build profiles for specific cameras which give processing emulations for Kodachrome 25 and Kodachrome 64.
Profiles can be applied in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw for Photoshop.
